Vail Harding currently serves as President for Vail Rubber Works, Inc., a fifth-generation family corporation located in St. Joseph, Michigan.

 

Vail began his career at Vail Rubber in 1998 as an Applications Engineer, serving as liaison between Technical Services and Sales Engineers serving the paper industry.  Vail eventually moved to Applications and Sales, managing accounts in the Midwest, Midsouth, and West coast.

 

In 2009, Vail accepted a position inside the company, serving as Project Manager and Inside Sales.  For three years, Vail managed sales and service to ThyssenKrupp Steel, a $13 Billion green field carbon and stainless-steel processing facility in Calvert, Alabama.  During this time, Vail was involved in the design and construction of a new Vail Rubber facility located in Mobile County, Alabama. He then served as Director of Operations where he had direct responsibility for the management of four facilities located in Michigan, Ohio and Alabama.

 

Vail is a graduate of Grand Valley State University and holds degrees in Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Mechanical Engineering.  Vail lives in St. Joseph with his wife Jackie and two children – Connor and Cameron.  He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and serves proudly on the Kinexus Board of Directors. In his spare time, Vail enjoys golfing, reading, and traveling with his family.
