Access $75K in Matching Funds to Offset Foreign Competition Successfully competing with imports is a major challenge for many small Michigan manufacturers. Join MGA and Jani Hatchett, Project Manager from the Great Lakes Trade Adjustment Assistance Center, on Wednesday, 5/26/21 at 10:00 am for a free informational webinar to learn how the Trade Adjustment Assistance for Firms program can help if you are competing with imports. Through this program, qualified companies can receive $75,000 in matching funds to implement business improvement projects using private sector consultants designed to strengthen their global competitiveness.
GLTAAC is located at the University of Michigan. Â It has been helping import-injured manufacturers in the state for over 38 years. Â The TAAF program is funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Â It is the only federal program specifically designed to assist small companies that have been directly hurt by imports. Â See www.gltaac.org for more information.
