About the Event

Access $75K in Matching Funds to Offset Foreign Competition Successfully competing with imports is a major challenge for many small Michigan manufacturers. Join MGA and Jani Hatchett, Project Manager from the Great Lakes Trade Adjustment Assistance Center, on Wednesday, 5/26/21 at 10:00 am for a free informational webinar to learn how the Trade Adjustment Assistance for Firms program can help if you are competing with imports. Through this program, qualified companies can receive $75,000 in matching funds to implement business improvement projects using private sector consultants designed to strengthen their global competitiveness.

GLTAAC is located at the University of Michigan.  It has been helping import-injured manufacturers in the state for over 38 years.  The TAAF program is funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce.  It is the only federal program specifically designed to assist small companies that have been directly hurt by imports.  See www.gltaac.org for more information.

The Manufacturing Growth Alliance (MGA) is a membership-based organization that provides services to help manufacturers build smart, lead strong, and establish a pathway for future growth. MGA’s services drive solutions that will make manufacturing in Michigan the most competitive and prosperous in the nation.
