TED VALLEY

Ted joined Manufacturing Growth Alliance in 2023, where he serves as the Business Development Manager and helps Michigan's small to medium sized manufacturers grow. Prior to working at MGA, he was an Education Consultant with Alerus Retirement Benefits, where he traveled the continental United States teaching people about their retirement accounts. Prior to that, he owned a consulting and event company.

Additionally, Ted has a wealth of experience within the manufacturing industry, holding several positions with General Motors and tier one suppliers. He also served as the Process Controls Manager and Assistant Plant Manager at Soroc Products, where he revamped operations, increased profitability, and grew production. After leaving this position he was the Director for the Michigan Manufactured Housing Association, a large trade organization operating throughout the state. Ted’s primarily role in the organization was lobbying for the industry. In this position, he also assisted many companies with their management, marketing and events. He currently resides in Flushing, Michigan.
